looking for some help. I'm looking for an 455 olds forged steel crankshaft 4.250 stroke. Condition not to much of an issue I'm trying it out on a project i'm working on. I have a 455 nodular crank to use towards a steel crank, particial trade etc. If you have something or know of one some where please let me know. Please fill us in on how you ship a 80+ lbs crank for $18? I have shipped alot of cranks and its always $60 or more.

 

f 85 i agree with you i did a little quick shipping quotes and a 70 lbs crank ships for about $60.00- $75.00 thanks for jumping in

 

I did I shipped 2 to 7 days 50 lbs olds 350 nodular I have a receipt I'll show u

 

You must have shipped it to the guy next door. Because I just shipped a 6lb 6x6x6 package FedEX and it was 17.05. and that was with no extra insurance.

I didn't include insurance that may be the case but it was a core so it didn't matter

iirc, the 455 nodular crank weighs 70 lb, and the forged is 76 lb.

 

I believe the Nodular crank is closer to 80lbs. Had one shipped to me a few years ago and it was an 80lb package.
