307 Olds motor

Once again, out of curiosity anybody have a decently running 307 olds motor? Even if it's in a rustbucket demo derby junker?

I've decided it would be a lot easier if I could move my Cutlass around on it's own feet rather than trailer it all the time...at least until I get a little more money to begin frankensteining the beast.

I think the motor that's in it has fried rings...not the onion type either. i'm going to run a compression test pretty soon and find out if I can get her to run again or not...she used to run at WOT, but it sounded like it ran on four cylinders and went 'CHUGCHUGCHUGAAAACHUGCHUGCHUGCHUG' and if you let your foot off at all it would die. Now I don't think I can get it to start at all.

Bah, that 307 is fine I'm sure.
You can't kill those things if it is an 85-up motor.
they will usually start spraying rods thru the oil pan around 220,000
Spend 6 good hrs tuning up that car and cleaning up the carb, and it will probably be alright just to move around at least.
