307 A-4 intake

As the title states... I need me an intake for a 307. Well it's not for me... its for my son's Delta 350 build and he doesn't have the cash for an E-brock intake, so I'll teach him about the second best option for what he's trying to do.

Let me know what you have and what price.

John

Any 307 work? I have 2 engines from 85 86ish Cutlass with 4 barrells that probably wont be gotten to any decade soon. Any particular cast #? Drop me a line direct at dead@mchsi.com and I'll try to help out. Pat

No, any 307 won't work. Just an A4 cast into the aluminum intake on the passenger side in the valley next to the water neck will do for me please.

If those motors have aluminum intakes and they are from 85 and up, they will be an A5, and not what I'm looking for. If they do have an A4, let me know how much.

Thanks!

John

If using the computer controlled Q-jet, check the primary throttle shaft, as they're notorious for wearing out, and creating a vacuum leak!
Had an '86 GP w/305 - 3 carbs in 223k!

ummm.... not exactly sure why you have shared this info, but thanks. The intake isn't going to be used on a 307, nor will it have a computer carb on it.
