200R4 Console Part from 1983-1988 Cutlass for a 1979 Cutlass
I'm looking for a single piece off a center console for my 1979 Cutlass Calais. Years ago I had it converted from its Metric 200 which I exploded on the way to the 2003 Olds Nationals to a 200r4. I'd like to get the console piece that holds the shifter indicator plate, the piece that the light shines through at night so I can see what gear I'm in. Undamaged Driver condition or better is ok as long as there's no cigarette burns where the ash tray fits in. Any color would do but would prefer grey or saddle tan as I have the camel tan interior. I plan on re-spraying it the right color.
This is the only piece I need but will consider buying an entire console if that's how it goes. Lid not needed.
Thanks.

Thanx, it's the piece that holds the shift indicator plate which snaps into it. It also holds the ash tray and the console lid. The piece fits into the bottom portion of the console. You have to screw it into the floor using those 3 long screws.
Much appreciated.

I have a used 200R4 shift plate which just snaps into the top console section in front of the ash tray... I will try to take a few photos tomorrow and post them... You don't have to replace the whole top console section... Just a FYI, the shift plates were produced with two different grain patterns... 86 through 88 are different from 85 and older...
