1990 Custom Cruiser wheels and Center caps GM part 10137842

Hello, I'm trying to source 5 x GM 10137842.

This part number is for the center wheel caps for the 1990 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser station wagon. The wheel that they fit is the aluminium one that were also supplied on some earlier Buick models.

Photo now attached..

Its a long shot but I'm a patient guy...honest!

I've looked hi and low. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Cheers.

Have you tried http://www.impalassforum.com/vBulletin/index.php or http://gmlongroof.4umer.com/forum ? There are some people near junkyards who might be able to get parts for you.

The 92 hubcaps are the same as the 91s, except for the color around the rocket is black.

He is looking for the caps only, not the wheels.

I'd love to have a complete set of those wheels for my 98. It's my ideal wheel. The rims and caps are rare. The cap from a Buick could be modified cosmetically to work. I check evilbay regularly and I've only seen one cap in the last few years of semi-regular searching. I'm glad you are patient!
Hang in there.

Thanks for sharing that part number! Would you happen to have the part number for the wheel, too?

Hello Henryk8398,

Sorry for not replying earlier. The part number according to my GM parts book is - 10089694. 15x7 Aluminium Wheel.

I hope that helps?

Thanks!

Look inside the car for the caps, around here they undo the lug nuts and toss the hubcaps in the car.

Hello GStage1,

Thanks for your message.

I have managed to purchase 4 rims from a Buick and last week found 4 'new' Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser wheel caps on E-bay.

Still looking for the fender lamp monitors, a door molding, cornering lamps and rear lamp monitor parts too if you happen to stumble across them.

I had made some temporary covers by putting decals over the Buick emblems. Photos in my album.

Can't wait to fit them and see how they look.

Cheers.

Angry crying....

Just lost this exact center cap from my full set. If I'd have known it was like getting a part for a Model T, not a 1990 car....I'd have removed them all up from ( I've had the car 2 yrs) and changed out the rims. I'm sick about it. Just went thru a zillion ebay pages and called a zillion more hubcap joints , even in Cali. SO PISSED.
Gonna put up lost-dog signs next....with a reward.

Hi Lorkav,

Ah yes they are very hard to find. Until I found a nos online I used Buick center caps and put a decal over the Buick emblem showing the Oldsmobile rocket emblem. Ok from a distance....

Good luck!

I have a set of those wheels on my Regency and really like them...but only ever had Buick caps. Couldn't find any Olds caps at all, except for the guy next town over that had them on his wagon and wouldn't sell them...
