1981 Delta 4 door parts.

wanted:

Any dark blue interior plastic other than a dashboard (we just installed a good one)
All weather stripping
All window sweeps
Dark blue bench seats, preferably front AND rear matching set, split bench OR straight bench, doesn't matter.
Rear bumper filler panel
A good glove box door (Any color, it will be dyed blue)
Chrome passenger side remote mirror.
Dome light.

Parts are for my 16 year old son's car who is just getting his feet wet with Oldsmobiles, and doing business with people online so be gentle.

I've saved one from the ricer crowd.

I am checking for you right now. Sorry I do not have a data base. Just shelves full of boxes.

LOL, sounds like my A body inventory! Its all in my head! I didn't list that center dash bezel with defrost, because I messaged you direct on that, but that is also something we need.

Looks like J has a couple of those items. Need to add:

Blue seatbelts, preferably the whole set, but specifically the drivers side receiver portion with the plastic guide. I think the car is wired for the seatbelt reminder, but its not necessary.

Hood release cable
Brake release cable
working clock... (heh heh heh yeah right)

Ah, I thought the rest of your stuff was NOS and I guess we forgot to discuss the glovebox when we bought the dashboard. I'll call you on the hood release cable.

The aluminum hood should have aluminum hinges to go with it and the springs are aluminum too ? I think...much thinner spring than the regular hood...

Correct, we got the whole shebang... all three of the hood springs are lighter. Sadly the hinges were bent so its going to take some work to get them right when we install it.

8 up..... Have your kid post up a pic of his dark blue if he has one laying about.

AND.... Inspect that aluminum hood where the latch bar meets the support. They always rot out there from electrolysis like the bumpers do.

I see. He's most likely using 1981 7130. Which was an 80-81 color only. http://qualitycarinterior.com/1981-o...-cut-outs.html

Mine is 1983 #7625

And his selection lines perfectly with his 81. It wasn't planned. That's what he liked. AND, I've been trying to talk him into letting me paint the aluminum hood a flat black to tribute the muscle cars of the day.
