1979 Cutlass Cruise Control Rod Needed

Need an important Cruise Control part: the rod & clip that connects the servo to the carb for a 1979 Olds 260. I believe the same rod is used for the 350, and for any of the 1978-1980 motors if they are Olds.

I'm setting up a factory correct Cruise Control set up for my black/silver 79 Cutlass and this seems to be the only piece I'm missing. Not looking for NOS or a show piece although I will take it if that's all that becomes available. My goal is to make it look like this was always in the car, so nice used is just fine.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks, that one is similar but mine is completely straight. I think the one in your photo might be 1981 to 1988, not certain. I'll try & post a photo

Pictured above is my H/O motor when it was rebuilt which shows the rod connecting the servo to the carb. I'm sure the 260 rod is the same dimensions. Anyone who's got one, please let me know if you can part with it, thanks

I may have another, but I think it is for a b/b set-up.

Gene,
I think I have what you're looking for... Think this came out of a 1979 Calais I parted years ago. Take a look at the picture. If it is, you can have what's shown.

i have part of an NOS kit..nd the rod in the kit is not flat and straight..but when you look at the directions, it shows a dead flat rod..i have cables, switch etc..a bunch of stock hardware etc, all new..and the directions are dated 1978 for all series..and looks like/similar to the pic tru-blue posted...

Thanks all, it looks like the offset in Phil's would be too much, and for tru-blu 442's, I'll check my 79 Calais over the weekend to see if that rod would clear the EGR fitting/base on the manifold, where it connects to the carb. If it does this one would probably work until I find a straight one. Looking for fit/functionality over correct for the time being, until the correct one is found.

I've got to get Cruise Control in this car. It's murder not having it on long trips, as I experienced last year back & forth to the Nationals. Leg cramp city.
