I am trying to find a hood for a 1976 98 Regency

 

where are you located? that is the last year for the big cars. i have some NOS stuff for these cars but no hood.

 

I owned a '76 Regency once, loved it! Start a thread and introduce yourself and your car to us. Moving this thread to "parts wanted" forum.

 

Any 75-76 Oldsmobile 88-98 hood will work. Pretty sure 74 too but I'll have to double check the parts book.

 

Thanks for the feedback, I am in southwestern Oklahoma, I live at the end of a dirt road ( say my daughters) between Cache and Indiahoma. I will keep looking for a hood, rest of the car is original, hood damaged when someone tried to close the hood and bent it at the spring.

 

Hi, you can use a hood from a '75 or '76 Eighty Eight, Ninety Eight or Custom Cruiser. Although a '74 hood will fit, the '74 has two hood "pop" springs and so the underside of the hood is slightly different.
