Unfortunately, your timing is a couple of days off. I just saw one for sale at Carlisle on Friday. I didn't pay much attention, as I wasn't looking for one, but price was in the $800 range, and yes, it was real, not repro. Sorry.

The W-31 intake is not reproduced. There are several in circulation that have 1974 dates that were sold over the counter at the dealerships, but never any repops made.

fyi

Paid $750 Can for mine 18 months ago when the US & Can dollars were essentially @ par.

If you want one plan to pay in the $700-$900 range if you want one that has no damage or prior repairs.

Sorry I am not educated on these parts, merely tried to help.
I've seen the intake when I was searching for some other parts over the weekend, when I seen the post i remembered that I've seen one.

I bought & sold a good one for $500 about 12 years ago so the prices above are right on par with the going rate

I have one and it is one of the best originals I have seen; not saying that because I own it, just saying it is very, very nice. $850.00 plus shipping. I can send pictures to you if interested.
PM also sent
