I'm going to offer up any of my parts or parts cars for a decent 1970 OAI hood!

I have a 70 Cutlass convertible parts car (has good top, all chrome around the front windshield is good as well), complete dash, good trunk lid and a MINT hood that I just took off and had soda blaster (it's MINT!!). Motor in the car is a 1973 Pontiac 400 motor (don't ask why? I don't know who put it in there ?!). Car also has old 12 bolt posi rear end. No interior. Doors are off the car (one was used for my current restoration) but I will include 2 decent doors if the purchaser likes ? Rear part of the frame is shot but that can be easily replaced. The rest of the frame (which is the boxed frame from the front to the back) is good. I have clear title in hand.

I have a 1972 Cutlass S. Car was running up until I parked it last fall. It was converted to propane 10 years ago ! no interior but pretty complete otherwise. Needs new truck pan replaced but I have a brand new 3 piece trunk pan (still unopened in the box) that I will include. Rockers are rough but I have a replacement pair to go with the car. Vehicle still has original 350/35th drivetrain. I have clear title in hand.

I also have a storage unit full of 70 - 72 fenders, hoods, glass (door glass and rear window for 70 - 72 Cutlass S), tons of chrome (wheel well and others), a rebuilt 350 motor (7a heads), a TCI 350TH transmission, 2 x 455 intake manifolds (1 is for auto and the other is for 4 speed car), D heads and more. There are also two pairs of bucket seats (both need recovering but are complete with nice headrests), 71 bench seat with fold down arm (nice), rear seats out of 70-72 hardtops and convertibles. many more boxes full of windlace, some very nice door panels and boxes full of many other parts !!

I would be willing to deal generously with someone who has a good 70 OAI hood to trade. Once I am able to source the parts I need to finish my Rallye restoration, I'll be looking to sell out ALL my inventory to whoever is interested !

Man I'd love to have those D heads, but I don't have a good extra hood and shipping from here to there would be difficult. John

A couple people have asked me to provide some more details of the parts so this is what I've been able to get so far:

There are 3 intake manifolds.
1- casting number 407567 (1971)
2- casting number 404521 (1970)
3- casting number 398662 (1969)

455 Block - Casting number 396021F (large F)

455 heads

1 set of C heads and 1 set of E heads (sorry about the confusion.. there are no D heads)

350 Motor complete (7A) heads. Motor had been rebuilt & ready to drop in !

12 Bolt posi rear end - Clean and complete end to end. Email for pics.
numbers on the pumpkin are: 394139 CFD2 BH

 

I've got a hood and a Rallye 350 with a hood for sale. I could make a package deal!
