i ordered & installed a replacement from OPGI two months ago to replace my OE. It was a perfect direct fit. Ask me how I know.

I’ll check when I return home that I purchased from OPGI, it may have been Summit since that’s the link I provided. I’ll x2 check.

Re patina - i think a used one will cost you just as much if not more.
On the repro I've had issues with the bottle cracking at the tabs

There’s a black one for sale in Parts For Sale. Lots of patina.

EDIT: Here's the listed item >>> https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...***-442-a.html

The windshield washer bottle I purchased was ordered from OPGI. The windshield bottle is a 100% direct-fit application to the original holes, the original washer bottle tabs & the washer bottle tabs are located in the exact location as the OE windshield washer bottle. The top sleeve (opening, which accommodates the windshield washer cover) was ~0.000018753697 mm larger in radius than the original windshield washer bottle. This was easily accommodated by removing with a Dremmel ~0.00001875000 mm from the circumference of the opening. So, the original links I provided are correct; since, Summit Racing sells the exact same (OPGI) windshield washer bottle.

How do you know?? Well nebber mind, those pictures tell a story. The one I bought was a repro also and the inboard tab wasn't even close to the hole in the fender liner. That was about 10-12 years ago. Maybe they've improved their QC?? The black washer bottles are year specific. 68-69 only.

We should probably stop hijacking this thread and start a new discussion on another one? BTW Norm, your battery cables aren't stock. They have had the ends replaced as evidenced by that aftermarket top post clamp.

You damn right they're not stock Allan - that's because I made them myself one month ago. BTW, my differential fluid, engine oil & transmission oil aren't stock. Ask me how I know this.... You're killing me.

Buy a new one, cover it with a thick layer of mud then toss it out in the middle of a busy intersection during rush hour traffic - old & crusty 'reborn'.

I'm surprised in almost two weeks a barn find hasn't popped up for you.
