1970-72 Heater Control Applique / placard NOS

I'm looking to see if anyone has an NOS or absolutely perfect used Heater Control applique for the dash controls. I know that Inline has a reproduction, but there are differences from the original. If there is an NOS one out there, I'd like to get it for my restoration. This is a pic of the reproduction piece so you know what I'm looking for.
Let me know what you've got - Thanks!

While I'm never going to go against the grain of using genuine GM parts, the hope of running across one is pretty slim. Not impossible, but could be far and few between.

I hope you find one, but since they would seem to be easily accessed, why not use the repro as a last resort, unless and until you find an NOS one? I can guarantee you that although you may know the differences and nuances of the original, 99.5% of the public will not. Nobody will be knocking off points for it, even at an Olds judged event. Nobody. And afficiandos at a car show would probably just glance at it at best.

^^.this

The ones made by H &H are very good, and I could not really see the difference.

I’ll check the ones from H&H - I was able to find an NOS one with a defogger switch just a couple years ago, and that’s a crazy rare piece. The little nuances of differences in the originals versus the repros get under my skin - I’m too picky lol. You never know until you ask - but if repro is the way to go, I’ll have to do it.

I know of a NOS AC Control applique, so while rare some of these face plates are still floating around. Good luck with the search, Bob!

Last time I'm going to bump this up - the car will be finished in a few months' time and well have to go with whatever is available.
