1970-72 Decent to Nice Fenders wanted in Indianapolis

I've got a friend restoring one of the Rallye 350s I picked up & he is looking for some fenders. He has some now, but they have been poorly repaired. He would like the '70 versions of course, but might take the '71-'72s also. Let me know what you got, how much, & some good pictures please. Pictures can be sent here or to my email, scottawinn@sbcglobal.net
Thanks.
Scott

I have LH & RH 70 Cutlass fenders. The RH is from a Supreme,so you would need to weld the holes shut for the wide molding, but the Cutlass holes are correct. I will send pictures.
He might be further ahead to buy the nuclear banana pictured to the right, above.

Unless they retooled the repro's, he will NOT be happy with the fit on the right fender. I've seen a few of them installed and the rear upper mount is just not in the correct spot and had to be cut off and moved. The eyebrow molding didnt fit the front either. The left one for some reason fits better, but not 100% like an OEM.

Tony,
Thanks for the heads up. I'll let him know to look out for those areas. We kind of figured it would be easier & money ahead to spend time trying to get them to fit right rather than fighting rust/dents & fitment issues.

Scott I have also watched a guy buy the repro fenders and cut the braces and lower fender off, then welded them onto the factory fenders while they were on the car. Just have to cut the skin either off the brace or cut out an access an inch in each direction from your brace cut line, then tack it back in place, remove the fender and finish weld.
A bit more work but you have a good lower from the repro and factory flat ridge on top.
