1970 442 Hot Air Pipe

Hi All

I'm looking for an original (no reproductions) hot air pipe for a 1970 442 with 455 engine. It's the pipe that goes from the RH exhaust manifold heat shroud up to the air cleaner snorkel. Must be from a '70. The '71 and '72 are different - the '70 connected to the heat shroud with 2 screws, while the '71 and '72 used a cotter pin.

I need just the pipe, not the heat shroud.

Thanks

To help those who are looking for you, the '69-'70 pipe has the holes at 45 degree angle towards the back for the screws, '71-'72 have the holes straight across from each other for the pin.

Thanks Terry, that is of great help! Excellent photo, it will really help me make sure I'm buying the right one. Yeah, I just realized the heat shroud I have on the car is a '71 - '72, it has the the 'straight through' holes. I took it off of an Oldsmobile at a wrecking yard over 20 years ago. I'll have to find an original '70 heat shroud also.

If your heat shroud is pretty nice, I have a new very high quality Fusick reproduction that I’d trade you. The repros are all 69-70 style when it comes to the holes. I need two 71-72 shrouds.

That's not entirely true. My black 71 442 has the 69-70 style hot air pipe and shroud. The car is all original and not tampered with. It's a Freemont, Tx built car. That being said I do need the sheet metal around the exhaust manifold for my gold 71 442. I have the hot air pipe.

My 68 has a pipe with slots at 45 degrees from each other. Willing to sell. Send a phone number and what your willing to pay and I can send a picture to verify it's the correct one. Shipping from Az 85014. Just realized that my stove pipe is off 350 2 barrel. No idea if they are the same.
