What letters "OW" or simillar is embossed the PASSENGER Side Tank.??? Transmission cooler some had none... I am not sure for a 1970 4442
3 ROW I presume... I have access to a quantity of 3 row harrison date coded and embossed tanks I can have them "built" with new core
May be have what you need..??? Keep the Shiny Side UP

The factory 4 core rad tag code is EC. the corresponding tanks are CI for the passenger side and IF or blank for the driver side.
The Y72 HD cooling 4 core radiator is the rad code tag ED. The corresponding tanks ate CH for the passenger side and IF or blank for the driver side.
They are identical rads with the exception of the embossed tank code on the passenger side.
it is a difficult rad to find, but The Parts Place reproduces it.
hope that helps

I called 442FRED about the 3 row w30 radiators manual trans were model year 1970 FB TAG Tanks "IA" and "CA"
Also found 1971 cars with 342 ratio TAG "SS" TANKS "IA" "CF"

THESE ARE 3 ROW RADIATORS

NON AIR and NOT 391 or 373 rear gear ratio

Our of frustration and desperation I ordered the repop Harrison from the Olds Parts and was very happy to see my confirmation email.....the next morning I received an email from them saying they don't have them and we are refunding your payment.

This is what led to this thread. I need a 4 core radiator for a factory 4 speed car which as stated above is the IF tank on the passenger side and would love to also find an EC tag as well.

Appreciate everyone's help.

Correction! I need the CI tank for the passenger side and an IF tank for the driver side but the IF tank is a lower priority. Focused in passenger and the tag for now.

All 3 core tanks in 1970 were IA for the driver side and CA for the passenger.
The FB is the standard 350 2 or 3 core non HD radiator.
The FE is the HD 3 core used on 442 And W30.

So I was able to find one of the Parts Place repop units....I have a buddy that just bought a set of original tanks for $800 and it will cost him $1,000 plus shipping to have Maine Radiator, best US made radiator hands down, overhaul and build everything. He is in for $1800 and the Part place Harrison licensed repop is $1,700.

Insane that in 2021 I could have bought this same part for less than $1,000. GD Covid!!!

I still need a correct tag EC for a 1970 442.
