I assume that this is for the 1972 Cutlass in your profile and not for a full-sized Oldsmobile?

I have an AM/FM stereo unit from a 1970 Cutlass, if you are so inclined. Many of the AM/FMs were mono, not stereo.

Please email me at herbslegacy(AT)sbcglobal(DOT)net if you are interested in more information.

Thanks, olmanwinter

The 1970 AM/FM stereo requires a multplex unit to be fitted behind the glove box. The 71/72 AM/FM stereo units were integrated into one radio unit (more compact and less cords). Most radios this old are going to need an overhaul before they can be installed, and that's not cheap either.

There is a nice AM/FM stereo unit that looks exactly like OEM, but has nicer features if you're interested. Turnkey from vintage auto radio, fits existing dash cutout, and doesn't require 10 ohm speakers. Might be a bit pricey but easy to install. If I was looking, I'd choose this.

am fm stereo radio

Was looking at an old post and saw that you had an Oldsmobile am fm stereo radio for sale. Do you still have it? If so how much? Also is it a one piece radio or does it have the multiplex additional piece? Thx Al
