1969 glove box/console lock

I'm looking for a console or glove box lock assembly for a 1969 442/Cutlass.
They should be the same both have "B1" on the back.
The lock tumbler or key is not important, just as long as the inside threads are not damaged.
Attached is a picture of one.

Thanks.

Do you still have your old one with that little broken piece? You said it looks the same as my broken piece. I took mine apart and going to JB-weld it back together. I let you know how it goes.

$6 is a good price for that one on ebay. What did you pay from ros6872parts? I have seen new ones selling for $75(I wont pay that much).
I started to take the lock case apart and was able to get the rest of that broken piece out, which I will call the lever.
In the 1st pic in the bottom of the case is the rest of the lever which has a spring around it. It is already partially out in that pic. I found that it was loosely pressed in and held in place by a slight bulge in the case.
The 2nd pic shows the piece out and a copper strand I used to hook behind it and pull it out.
I havent had time to epoxy back together yet.

Will this piece being broken not allow you to lock\unlock the console? If so I wonder if thats how my console lid got broken? Can the lid be fixed if is broken or do I have to try and find another one and paint it to match?
Thanks for your help guys.

The problem I had was that I coudnt push the button in to open it. Your problem sounds like you dont have the right key and need to change the tumbler. If you have all the pieces to your lid it should be fixable with some plastic epoxy or similar. Also I think I remember seeing these lids repopped somewhere, not sure though.

I paid I think around 20 bucks, from ROS.
Yes the lids are repro'd I got on from Chicago Muscle Works and it looks great, they even have the metal piece under the lid.

Unsuccessful mission. I epoxied the pieces together with JB Weld and the first time I tried it, it broke. Maybe Ill try again and be a bit more liberal with the epoxy.

Sorry it didn't work, I wonder if a locksmith could fix it?
