1969 442 Radiator Core Support

In disassembly of my 69 442, I noticed that the core support is partially rusted out below the battery tray. The time to repair this portion is not worth it and so I am searching for one that is in good shape. DM me with details.

I have one here in WA, can't recall the exact condition of it. I do know the battery tray had rust. I'll check on it and let you know.

Email Amesolds@yahoo.com. He might have one and he is in San Antonio so not that far of a trip for you.

Were you able to check the condition of the core support you mentioned? They are hard to come by in decent condition.

Thanks
Sean

There has been one advertised on Seattle Craigslist for quite awhile.

Good luck.

I have one just cant get at it for a couple days. 4 core saddles, straight, just some surface rust no holes. I will get pics as soon as I dig it out.

Tom,

Thanks so much for checking. I am first going to try and do a transplant of just the welded in section that I received from another CO member. If that doesnt work, I am sure to reach out to Mr Ames.

ttt

Still need the core support after various options have fallen through. Ideally something within driving distance.
