Question 1968 Delmont parts needed

Hey everyone! Finally have the cash to fix my Delmont 88 after getting hit in 2013... Need to know if anyone has parts for a 1968 Delmont 88 drop top convertible, specifically a drivers door and rear driver quarter panel and any other part would be cool to know about if I may need them. May also be interested in a 455 BBO since I rebuilt mine was fine till after the rebuild, I have spun the bearings 3x over cause low oil pressure in the bottom end... So I am open to all parts for my 68 Delmont if available! Thx all cant wait to hear from you all! shendricks310@gmail.com 😊

Any chance you had a burgundy door panel (electric windows). Would be great if y;'ll had pics of the body parts. Did not think you can still get quarter panels for these.

Door and quarter can come from either Delmont or Delta. Won't swear they couldn't come from a 67.

To clarify, I have a 68 Delmont Convertible. Delta did not have a convertible. From my understanding the doors on the 2 Door models probably have interchangeable doors (and also the hood, front fenders, and trunk lids), but the rear-quarter panels for a 68 Delmont Convertible must come from a 68 Delmont Convertible and no other model. The rear quarter panel for a 68 Delmont 88 convertible is hard to find I would presume.

As far as the inner door panels (speak of 2 door models), they may fit and be be interchangeable between Delmont and Delta (do not know for sure), but they will look differently. The Delta interior was more frilly and had more cloth material and less vinyl (like a Caddy). The Delmont was smooth and all vinyl.

Picture of the available items are very helpful here.

Also I don't think the 67 and 68 models body parts are interchangeable.

I stand corrected. I know nothing about Oldsmobiles or GM body platform architecture.

The 67-68 Olds B-body doors all interchange for a given body style (Holiday Coupe and convertible doors are the same except for the bolt-on wedge plates).
Quarter panels also interchange for a given body style, except that 68s will be punched for the side marker light.
Fender extensions, trunklid, and rear bumpers are different and do not interchange.
Front end sheet metal is different and does not interchange.
All of this ignores holes for trim, which varied by model as well as by year.

Thank you Joe! They two years look considerable different from picture, but great to know that at least the doors are interchangable. Not sure about the interior panels, but at least the metal part of the door.

The interior parts will swap, but patterns will be different. The dashboard is also slightly different from 67 to 68. The whole thing will interchange as a unit.

I'll add that I had SMS redo the door and rear quarter interior panels for my 67 D88. It was extremely expensive and took 18 frustrating months, but they look incredible. All factory materials and colors (turquoise).
