Hello All!

I am looking for a better set of hood hinges for my 68 supreme. Does anyone have any available?

Secondarily, are the hinges for the 68 DELMONT 88 or the 68 OLDS 98 interchangeable with mine?

As you probably know, 1968 hood hinges are one-year-only. The good news is that they are common across all RWD Oldsmobiles for 1968.

 

Joe is right so yes those will fit. Some people put the 69-72 hinges on them to get more lift out of the hood when open. It takes a little doing if the fenders are 68 originals.

That's good to hear because there are several sets available at different places but they are for cars like what I mentioned earlier.

 

No, they are not bolt-on, as Larry pointed out. If you really have original 1968 fenders, the pattern of the threaded holes that the hinges bolt to is different. You would need to drill the 1969 pattern into the fender and weld on nuts on the backside to use the 69-72 hinges.
