'68?

Is that a typo, as the car in your pic, is a '69; or is this for another vehicle?

Yes, indeed!
My car is a 1969, but with a 1968 front Left fender... and hinge!

Hinge is completely out, so before replacing fender next year for new paint, would need a 1968 Left hinge!

Personally I would use a correct 1969 hinge and modify the fender to match. If you are firm on using a 1968 hinge, be aware that Cutlass and full size cars used the same hinge that year, so one from a 1968 Delta 88 or Ninety Eight will also work.

Thanks Joe for your answer!
That could be a solution!

Would you have some tips/advices to give me to do this modification correctly?
(How to get solid anchors for the hinge?)

Thanks

Hi!!
Found a 1968 TORONADO left hinge.
Will the hinge work for my car?

Thanks!

If you have a '69 hinge on the right side, having a '68 hinge on the left may be problematic (but then again, it might not be). The '68 hinge does not open up as far as the '69 does, I don't know if that will make the hood more prone to closing without notice as the right side will not be all the way open.
