Be aware that there are two different versions and they do not interchange. The Thompson version mates with the smaller tapers on the idler and pitman arms. The Saginaw version mates with the larger ones. Your idler, pitman, and center link must all match. My 67 Delta has the Thompson version and the only source of new ones is Rare Parts or their distributors. Call Craig at Mobileparts, he got me a deal. He's at Hershey all this week, however.

Thanks Joe, I know there are two types of center links. What's the easiest way to determine which is which? I'm pretty sure what I have is a Saginaw type. Thanks. Joe

The only way to determine is to measure the diameter of the top of the taper pin on the center link, just where the taper starts. Fusick has a good diagram in their catalog.

I had the center link replaced on my '67 Delta by a local tire shop. They got the center link from Rare Parts.

http://rareparts.com/

If you search the site for '67 Delmont 88, they show availability of both versions, and both are the same price, $215.
