1967 442 Trunk Trim

I am looking for the trunk trim molding that goes on the edge of the trunk of a 1967 442. The molding has a black background on with Oldsmobile in silver letters. The Cutlass trim is all silver. Please contact me if you have this trim in good condition. Thanks

Except for the black paint, they're exactly the same. If you can find a good Cutlass piece, tape off the upper smooth chrome carefully, then paint the whole thing semi-flat black. Before it's hardened, wipe the paint off the letters with a cloth or paper towel dampened with lacquer thinner. You can wrap the cloth around a piece of flat wood or metal to keep it flat so it doesn't hit the painted textured background. I did mine this way and it came out looking new.

Yup. Just not a job that requires any particular talent. In other words, even I could do it.
