1966 cutlass firewall heater delete plate

As title states..looking for any help in finding a heater delete firewall plate. I see some through some vendors but they look like flat metal without the stamped surface.

Strits Check with Ames Performance. Its "A" Body all the way.
It took em me 5 minutes to compose this recommendation. Must be the MS .

They all sell that aftermarket thing-----realize that those cars were made almost 50 years ago and the 16 year old that got one is now 66 years old and they bank on no one alive ever saw a real one. I am 73 and I HAVE seen a real one and that isn't it. And I have only seen 1 in my lifetime of my first Olds being a 1949. I would think Hawaii would be the place to look as thats where I saw one and also back then many cars shipped to year around warm places had no heater.

Contact Mike Richards, he can tell all and more than you need to know about the firewall plates. GM had 2 styles, one had more raised stamped ribs than the other.

The above picture is a home-made part. The one on ebay is the Chevy style. The Olds style hasn't been regularly reproduced but a friend who works in a sheet metal shop has made a couple, stamped and cut correctly for Olds. Here is a correct style cover, just below the MSD coil.

IVE owned 3 real heater delete pontiacs..all 66s GTOs, all came back to the states from Hawaii..with servicemen

that repop plate is much much nicer than the factory pieces, that being said..it dead on but too nice...the originals where wavy not "sharp" edged....
