I'm in dire need to 2 rear 1/4 window felts for my project.
the ones i received in the kit don't fit..?

it isnt a concourse restoration, so i dont care if they are repros.

if you've recently repalced yours, and you own a convertible 66/67 - you may have these left over from the kit!

I had the same problem with my 66 a few years back (~ 5 years). The vendors claimed to have felts that fit "the cars with special moldings", but none of them seemed to (I tried three different sets that were sent and every one had a bead on it, chrome or otherwise, whereas mine had no bead). My car has the wide moulding on the tops of the doors and quarters (2 dr hrdtp). The original felt had a screw that went through the felt on the end, through the trim and into the door (if I remember correctly) - none of the new ones did. I never did find a vendor who had the correct felts (I gave up after a couple months of the nonsense). If someone knows for sure these felts can be had that actually fit correctly (they have the same moulding and have installed the replacement felts), I would like to know as well.
