1966 B Body 4 Speed Clutch/brake pad

Glad I could help but as mentioned the rubber seems too hardened/brittle from age to be flexible enough to install. Perhaps an softening agent would work.

I just tested wintergreen oil diluted in water 3:1 as a rubber softening agent for ancient rubber. It worked way faster than I expected. I thought I’d leave vent window seals in for a week or 2, but I took them out on day 2.

Suggest you look at YouTube videos on the subject and hit up amazon or similar for wintergreen oil. Warning: it’s smelly stuff and will make your garage smell like a pack of gum.
