1966 442 Front Fender Brackets

Looking for a pair (r & l) front fender brackets for a1966 442, straight brackets, not angled like the 1967 442 brackets.
The front end of the car was disassembled when I bought and the 67 brackets were with the baskets of parts.
See the attached pics of the correct, straight brackets.
Let me know…..Tom

Brackets

These are available from inline tube/ motor city muscle. They are accurately reproduced and, reasonably priced

They make the 67 braces but list them as 66 & 67 which is wrong, they are different.

Agreed! Done a lot of research on these brackets and they are definitely different between 66 & 67. These companies should revise the description of those brackets and what year they fit..

I believe the difference in upper mounting point from 66 to 67 was caused by the introduction of plastic inner fenders.

Brackets

I stand corrected and see the In line tube bracket is different. I did not realize the angle with the single bolt hole is the area of concern. Thanks for the insight. If it is any consequence it does fit perfectly

I actually called InLine Tube and let them know about the difference between the Brackets on the 66 & 67. Gonna wait a few weeks and see if they change their description.

Are you saying the 67 braces fit a 66 perfectly?

Bracket

yes. Fit perfectly with no modifications. I was unaware there was a difference before reading the thread.
