1965 starfire glovebox door
Rocketscientis -I am interested in the glovebox door. if its in great shape. My email is mhcbah@gmail.com. Send pics. The consoles in 64 were available with power seat switches in the console. If the car has power seats then its only good for 64 unless all you have a good top and just need the base and wiring. If it did not have the power windows than you're only difference is the logo on the top plate. It is not the same as 65 and 66. In other words only the tach, base, console door and trim transfer not the top. Wiring is a little different to. Mine is made up of probably three consoles that I used to rebuild one good 65. LOL. The bucket seats..not sure on that.
If you needed one for a 65 Jetstar I, I have a nice one I've sat on for 30 years. Pulled it out of the car in a snowstorm. It was sunny and 40 degrees when we went in that junkyard that morning...
A friend had one in the color I need, black. It’s pretty good shape so Im now good on the glovebox door. However if you have a black one I may still be interested. Might be buying a coupe this summer and it’ll need interior work. Send pics if you wish. Email above
