1965 442 Shifter Boot Non-Console

trying to help someone out...looking for a stock non console floor shiter boot.

GM still sells one, go here http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results.cfm , if the boot doesn't come up enter this part# 3842926 and see if it is the one you need. If so you can get from any GM dealer, just use the part #. GMpartsdirect.com charges a lot for shipping.

Thanks for the replies, I don't think the 65's had the trim ring. Also, the finsh is smooth on the boot unlike the rough surfaced one at Fusicks....I upload a picture of it, but don't have the patience....

The rough surfaced one at Fusick's is used as the lower boot at floor pan on console equipped cars. Fusick sells the smooth non console boot also.

I got mine from Fusick and it is duller and slightly rougher than the original but is acceptable in my resto of my 67. The original mounting ring does work with the repro with only 1 or 2 screw holes not in line which can be punched easily.
