Is it the chrome panel or steel body underneath that your buddy needs?

 

Sorry I wasn’t more specific. Chrome or potmetal full length trim piece needed. Convertible. I’m assuming there the same ?

Some people actually need the body panel.
I think you’re talking about the chrome bolt on(pot metal) trim piece.

Nice ones will cost $700 +
There’s a nice one on eBay right now.

The ‘65 rear trim has to be almost impossible to find in good shape..a buddy has looked for years, course he doesn’t want to spend 700+
