Have now removed the Eaton AC in my 98 and would like to
buy original alternator brackets for mount on engine right side if possible
to ship to Sweden.

FYI 65 BBO is a one year only setup. 66 up is a different setup and will work SBO/BBO.

 

Thanks for tip i have got some answers on parts already. The alternator is located next to Power Steering pump now
and the fan belt adjustment bracket mounted in the 1/4" thick plate that the Eaton compressor was mounted on.

 

If by chance all of 65 components are not readily available , would th more plentiful 66 setup get you to where u want to be ??

 

I donīt know if a 66 set up will line up the alternator belt with the pulleys as today. I should remove the Eaton AC "bracket" soon.


Looked at my -65 88 with factory air and there is the alternator belt close to engine , the opposit on the 98.


But i know that ac cars have a little longer water pump.

 

Hi , test started the engine today with my "home made" alternator brackets .
