1964 Olds 98 no Tilt turn signal cam
The turn signal cam and it's associated pieces were sold as an "actuator assembly " by Oldsmobile parts.
This actuator is listed as part number 5676894 and is listed as fitting all 63 and 64 models except F-85 and jobs with tilt wheel .
Hope this information helps your search .

Yes , I have found when hunting parts that a factory part number is often very helpful.
You can google the number and sometimes find NOS parts for sale .
The application info is even more valuable . The particular part you are looking for is listed as fitting all 1963 and 1964 models except F-85 or tilt wheel .
This broadens your search .
Part number information can be found on the "Wild About Cars" websight .

You must be a member of the Automotive History Society to view the parts books and service manuals . But at $25 a year I think it's worth it .
I've also managed to collect several original Oldsmobile parts catalogs.
I have; 1963 Master Chassis and Body books , That cover back as far as 1949 for some items.
A 1950 Master chassis book that covers back to 1933 .
And a 1941 Olds Master parts book(complete)that covers back to 1928 or so.
Parts books are easy to read , just start at the first page . Within the first few pages are the instructions on how to use the book .

I might, but I need to check.
However the price may be higher and it is as is. This was a used part that I did not need nor did I check it but as I remember it looked solid. These do not exist anymore in quantity. I have seen NOS for $225.00.
So PM me to discuss.

I am not in the parts business so if you want it quick please give me some advance notice since I need to look for it.
So if you want it and I have it, I want $65.00 which includes shipping. I am pretty sure I have it in my storage somewhere.
Thanks.
