1964 Heater/AC Blower Switch

Mine works but not correctly. Anyone have a working switch laying around?

Hey Todd,
Did you ever find the A/C stuff you were looking for? I just about finished putting the dash stuff from my 65 F85 into my 442 today, and I ended up using all the non-air pieces. Someone changed the heater box to non-air so they could fit massive amounts of propane stuff under the hood. I don't have the air box any more, so I've got left over, the controls with cables, the 6 pin fan switch, and I may even have a wiper switch.
If you're not needing it any more, I'll just E-Bay it. Don't know if it works or not because it was all in the trunk when I bought the car.
Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave,
I would be interested indeed! I appreciate it. Would you happen to have a 64 fuse box too?

Actually, the parts are from a 65 442. Hopefully they're the same as 64. Fuse panel is junk. It would be better than nothing, but not by much !!
I'll look the parts over and give you an idea of their condition, and you can think about it, if you like.

1965 442 Air Conditioning Controls

The controls look pretty decent except there's something missing behind the labelling on the left side. May have been a light assembly. All the parts seem to operate and cables move. Fan switch has 5 terminals not 6. I think non-air ones have 4. I just installed one and I'm pretty sure it had 4 terminals.

Hi Dave,
I would appreciate the photos! I think that at this point I am most interested in your switch. I have spent the last two days on the lever/assembly and have it working pretty good.

Thanks again, I am grateful.

Hi Todd,
I'm trying to decide if I want to sell the switch separate, or mount it to the heater/AC controls and try to sell them as a package. Will try to let you know shortly.

Understood

Hi Dave,
I understand. Let me know either way. If it takes buying the whole set up, so be it.

Hi Todd,
Just re-checked the mechanism. Something missing, a post maybe, so the defrost lever doesn't move the cable. Looks like a small post is supposed to come up through a slot to move the plate, but the post has been removed. I'm guessing here, but that's what it looks like. Anyway, the chrome is pretty decent, and the other machanical parts seem to operate.
I'll send you a PM.

Hi Todd,
Not hearing anything back from you since PM at 1:00 Friday. If nothing by tonight, I'll assume you don't want the parts and deal with them accordingly.
Thanks, Dave
