2 door hardtop so it is not boxed like a convertible. $100.

I'd like to see a pic of the frame. What parts are boxed? I could do that if that's the major difference.
Please text or call 6512468028
Any idea how much shipping would be to 55119?

Roger, I think you'll want to hold out for a convertible frame. There's been a lot of discussion on this so you might read through old threads to see what the difference is and why.

If you are building a convertible than I would agree to wait. Sure you could box an open frame (like I did for my hardtop) but the time, effort and cost may not be worth it to you. As far as shipping goes I have no idea but I can't believe it would be cost effective compared to hooking up a trailer and picking it up yourself.

I'd I'd sure like to know where those threads are with a discussion about convertible frame machine versus two-door hardtop frames.if you can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. I've got the rear end out and all the pieces off and the frame loose now. rogerbarcus@gmail.com 6512468028. Thank you

Thank you
It is a lot of work. The kit I used was pre-cut but you still had to massage it a bit to make things fit correctly. I had the frame sandblasted, took a few days of welding and grinding, plus the cost of a bottle of C25 gas. The kit "only" cost around $300 then but it is over $500 now. I already had the frame, sandblaster is family - so no financial cost, and my time is free. So basically if you are working on a convertible hold out for a convertible frame. In the long run you will save a bunch of money and time.

you will probably end up bying the kit-64 65 boxed frames are VERY hard to find and a nice one will go for 15 hundred
