1964 Cutlass Wire Hubcap
Well, after eight years repairing, restoring or replacing all I could on my car, I got it insured and licenced Friday. I took it out today, and when I left, I had 4 hubcaps. When I got home, I only had 3. I retraced my trip of about 5 miles, but I can't find it. I'm hoping someone has a 2 bar spinner wire hubcap they would be willing to part with. It looks a little funny with one missing. I'm in Canada, but I have a Michigan mailing address. Thanks, Vic

Since you can never see more than the two wheels on the same side of the car at the same time, the car only looks funny when you look at the side that has the missing hubcap. The other side always looks fine. So, right off the bat, half the planet's people never know you have a missing hubcap in the first place, so they'll be just fine.
To make the fact of a missing hubcap less noticeable to the other half of the planet's people, until you find a replacement, remove the hubcap from the other wheel on that side. That way, people will just think you haven't yet bothered to put them on, you have some on order and they just haven't arrived yet, or something like that. But the view on that side will be less jarring.
Another thought, again until you get a replacement, is to go to a junkyard and get two generic-looking, matching hubcaps of the correct size and put them on that side. Because it's not possible to see the other side at the same time, no one will notice that the hubcaps don't match, and the car won't look funny anymore because there won't be a missing hubcap.

My mailing address is Nashville, MI, near Battlecreek. And yes, it would be too much work for me to keep playing musical hubcaps. I'll just drive it as is and if people don't like it, well, it is my car.

For example, are you afraid this might happen?

I mean, seriously, I can't image a stranger walking up to you and saying "man, your car is ugly!"

It is the cap with the two bar spinners. I think 64 and 65 are the same except for the medallion in the center. I think Olds went to a three bar spinner in 66 but I could be wrong about that.

I have this set of 4, they are 14" - not spinners, but if all else fails PM me
