Looking to buy a drivers side fender emblem with reflector for a 1964 Olds 98.

 

NOS or used?

 

Used is fine, just needs to be fully intact and in decent shape.

 

Very nice driver quality chrome. Reflector isn’t cracked but faded. Studs are solid and nuts. $25 shipped.

 

Here's another , $50 plus shipping .

 

Grab both. The plastic insert can be restored.

 

Anyone else have one of these? I am still looking.

That is not the correct emblem. The shape is different than the OEM emblem.

 

Jan 65 and Nov 73 parts books indicate:

Grp 8.147 p/n 384628 RH, 384629 LH, emblem incl bezel and insert, front fender 64 98.

The 65 book shows the plastic insert was available separately at that time as p/n 588918, fits both sides.

Suggest basing your search on these part numbers. Until I looked it up I didn't know R&L sides were different.

 

 

The emblem in post 5 is most likely the inner door panel emblem as it has 3 studs while the fender has 2.

 

Wondering if it may be 63 Ninety Eight front fender or decklid, or 63 88 decklid.

 

It's certainly not a '63 decklid emblem .
That's why I bought it off E-Bay , because that's what I thought it was .
When I got it I discovered that it was about two thirds of the size of the deck emblem I sought .

I would appreciate it if anyone can identify exactly what this emblem is .
