Hello, I am looking to buy a 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass Convertible Radio face plate... the item is for a 88 or a 98, what I am wondering is if it will fit on my 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass Convertible...

Won't work. The F85/Cutlass radio nose piece is very different from the fullsize car radio. Cutlass piece is flat with "OLDSMOBILE" engraved into it. FSC is angled to match the contour of the dash.

Doug, I have 2 old radios that came out of a 62 cutlass. One works but not well the other I didn't try. I had 3, had one rebuilt and have 2 left. Their is no removable "faceplate". The entire radio fits into the dash opening and is held in place by a bracket in the back and by the nuts on the dial holes. Let me know if you want one. No charge but you pay the shipping. Russ

 

I found 1 then got 2 more, it seems whenever I want one thing I get about twice as many as I need! I have 15 taillights for one car, 4 bucket seats, 2 engines, 4 wing windows, 2 winsheilds, 3 convertible tops, and so many other things! Like 4 steering wheels, 2 grills, 6 headlight bezels and 12 13" wheels with a 4x4.5 bolt pattern!
