1962 Dynamic steering column switches
1962 Dynamic steering column switches
Looking for the 2 switches on my steering column. I know one is for the turn signal. Not sure what the other one is. Let me know if you have any. Thanks.
I have a '62 D88. My steering column does not have any switches. It does have a couple of levers (arms); one for the turn signals and the other to select gears.
Is that what you are referring to as switches?
These can be carefully disassembled and cleaned. My signal switch has extra contacts for corner lamps. Carefully pry away metal tabs and it comes apart. I did it over a small pan. It contains springs and *****. Cleaned it, lubed slightly with di-electric grease, re-assembled, installed and adjusted it.
They are adjustable in their mounting holes. They are hard to find, more so if you have corner lamps.
