I'm looking for a water pump for a 1961 Olds 98 Town Sedan. I have been able to find the standard pump but not one that is for a 61 with AC.

My understanding is that the water pump for the 61 with AC has a few more fins on the impeller to handle a higher water flow.

Perhaps -- the cooling fins were different on some brands --- when they were available in the aftermarket -- but they are DEAD through regular channels now....
I reproduced the water pump -- and it works for without air cond. and FOR
cars with Air Cond. -- because we made it with the larger bearing -- and that was the one discernible difference between with and without a.c. ...
