1959 1960 air cleaner

Hello,

I am looking for a 1959 or 1960 4 barrel air cleaner. A good base and snorkel is most important.

Thanks!

Ross

I took one off an early 394 cu. in. engine (I believe).I never had the car, just the engine. You don't happen to have a pic of one? This one is very thick from top to bottom

That one. Note the rounded top corner on cover. Same as Cadillac in 1960, a difficult air cleaner assembly to find if missing. Snout is oriented to drivers side if equipped with A/C.

That would be the one. I don't need one for an A/C car. It seems like the 401 Buick air cleaners are similar but the snorkel points downward.

Might someone recognize this one.The base flange looks like Q-jet to me.I think 65' was 1rst year for q-jet use.Anyway,it would be nice to identify it,so it can find a new home

I would say it's from a 425 with a Q-Jet.

Pretty sure this is what you need. Weird part is the lid doesn’t rest on a flange, it is almost exactly the same diameter as the hole so I assume it actually rests on the filter.
