1956 Olds windshield removal

I am trying to remove the windshield on my 56 Olds 88. Can anyone give me some guidance.

If you don't have the '56 manual, click on the YouTube video for the windshield replacement. Type in 1956 Oldsmobile windshield. I would post a link but I'm a frekkin retart and don't know how to do it

On a '57 you have to remove the inside garnish mouldings, and lower the front of the headliner to access the nuts on the studs that hold the outside trim in place.

Not a easy job if you haven't done it before, I think the shop charges 4 hours shop time to do this.They can do a regular windshield in less than a hour....Tedd

56 olds windshield removal

Car is pretty must step down and being restored so not worst about it being difficult just want to know how to remove term without damaging it. Hopefully is like the 57. Nothing in the shop manual and nothing on youtube. Thanks

In the box where you post your message is a blue button marked 'EDIT'. If you want to repair a messed up message, click on that button and repair away. Saves much time having to construct another box...
