1954 drivers rocker molding

Hey everyone,

I’m missing a rocker molding for the drivers side on a 1954 Rocket 88 2 door coupe. If any one comes across a lead on one please let me know.

thanks,
john

Good luck on that one. That is a near impossible item to find.

Lol I understand that but it doesn’t hurt trying. I’ll eventually find one. Car is complete beyond that. Worth a shot on here for sure.

Worth a shot for sure. The ones on my 54 were beyond repair when it was restored so I had no choice but to eliminate them. It is tough when you have one elusive part missing.

I consider myself lucky actually, all the parts seem to be elusive. Atleast I have 1 for the pass side so I could make one if I had to and really wanted to maintain them. That would take some time so I’ll keep looking for now. Even a poor condition one could be useful.

Could you post a picture and measurements of the one that you have?

Thanks for the assistance. This is the passenger side trim that I have. Hopefully this helps.

Approximately 81 1/8” long at the longest points

1 1/4” wide

Curved profile with one side tapering off. The moulding has straight sides for its full length that are parallel.

have a great New Years,
John

I was lucky and found a set of NOS and bought it at a bargain price. I'll tell the story at a later time. At one time, Fusick had 98 rockers only, and they could be shortened to work. They might still have something that's not in their catalog ask at the order desk they have been excellent at helping find hard to get items. Let them know you are in a bind and need it to compleat your project..Tedd

Assuming it is a Super 88 that the OP is talking about.
Then the part number is 565477 for the driver side.
The passenger side would be 565476

What I've got must be off a different model. It looks similar but is only 74ish inches long. Also some bozo put a screw through one end of it!
