No just straight 14x7 rims that fits 70oldsw31 and also dog dish that have no dents TOny

If you are not specifically looking for XT/IF wheels then Wheel Vintiques through Summit is the cheapest way to go. They look almost identical to my XT/IF wheels and are the lowest price out there.

I have a set of IF stamped ones. They came off a 442 that was ordered with full wheel covers (not hubcaps) and disc brakes. XT codes usually came on hub cap cars. I have 4 in primer (blasted in out and sideways, etch primed, and filler primed) They are a scuff away from paint. Alot of hard work already done. I have a fifth with a nice paint job on it already and that would also need a scuff to be repainted, was prepped the same way. $175 each. The last XT cost me $200 and it was rough, and the code was barely legible and very small compared to my others (I think I got robbed actually..oh well buyer beware)

Orange442, would your or anybody reading this have used these with the available repro dog dish caps, and were there any fitment problems with the caps.

id be curious also. I bought a stamp kit from harbor freight and practiced an XT, and the size comes out as about as perfect as you can get. Other than the small date numbers it would look good for a resto purpose.

I have not used them but have seen others use them, mostly with 15", with original caps so the repops should work.

I have thought about this myself because original XT wheels are hard to find and usually expensive when you do find them. On the other hand, the other thought I had was, "How many people are really going to bend down or get on hands and knees to see if my wheels have the correct stamped codes and dates?" (Yes, I usually check!) and also "How many are even going to know that wheels have codes and to look at my wheels for those codes?" I know some concourse or high end shows might look but that would be the guys that would only settle for originals.
