need good axle shaft for my 12 bolt diff. THE AXLE IS 29.5 INCHS. LONG from the flange face to the end of the shaft AND HAS THE PREPACKED BEARING WITH THE INNER AXLE SEAL pressed in the housing AND IS A 31 SPLINE, SHAFT IS 1.380 DIAMETER AT THE BEARING PRESS AREA, THANKS OCTANIA AND 507OLDS FOR THE HEADS UP ON THE INFO.

Ray,
If this is for your 70 W30,it should have a roller bearing,with an outboard seal. Since you have a November 69 car,there is a chance that you have the earlier style with the sealed bearing,and seal that presses into the tube.
Let us know which one you have.

 

If it is 31-spline,then it's a 68 rear. I do not have a spare 31-spline shaft.
