Olds Part clear out.

I have amassed far too many Olds parts, engines, transmissions etc, more than I will ever use. I want to clear out my garage to the point I can put another Cutlass in it that I am about to purchase... but I digress.

I have
three longblock 350's $200 ea (#8 heads)
several disassembled 350s (parts can be sold separate)
two disassembled 403's $250ea
one complete 403 (carb to pan and all brackets I think), $350
one longblock 455 (1968), $400
one DX diesel short block. $250
one 330 block $150 (I have the crank and flywheel for this block... i'd sell both together but NOT separate $350)

ALL of the above are CORE motors, that will require the appropriate rebuild procedures.

I have several sets of heads, from #4's to Ga heads. $100-$250 per pair.

Assorted V-8 valve covers, notched and embossed and one chrome set. $10-$50 each.

approx. 2 dozen assorted Qjet cores... nothing 442 or H/O special $40 each I used to have a part number list... somewhere.

I have one 1970 Cutlass fender that needs a dogleg. $200

Several 1971-72 fenders that need doglegs. $75

1971-72 Cutlass doors that need some TLC... some rot around the weather strip area at the top by the mirror but structurally sound. $150 each

MUCH MUCH More little piddly stuff trim, interior, door handles. Most of it driver quality. Come bring a truck. the more you buy the better the deal. I'd deliver if it was on my way somewhere. I frequently travel from Chas SC to Norfolk VA area. Planning a trip to NY in Sept and would consider delivering anywhere up the I-95 corridor or up through Delaware and MD over the Bay bridge.

email me at eightupman@att.net for quickest response. Prices are a guideline and nothing is firm. I want it gone, but not scrapped.

Do you have a 7027131 Rochester Q-Jet? If so I'm interested.

Thanks,

Tom

Its possible.. I can't find my list so I'll have to dig them out and make a new list. My organizational skills are non existent.

Brown and black. The brown one has a flaw... someone thought it cool to inscribe a "Metallica" logo on it. It can be filled and painted. No cracks and kept in the house.. not the garage or shed.

I could pay and then pick up at your dad's house if you could leave it there.....or you could ship it....(& I'll pay shipping)

Looks like the only 350 pistons I have are .010 or greater.

Carbs are coming out and getting inventoried this weekend... please bear with me as they are buried.

Dash pads are 71-72... From what I understand the 1970 pads have different vent openings.. I could be wrong, I usually am.

DrBigBlock.. no PM in the inbox sir.

Couple of questions to answer to the masses... The ONLY 1970 specific piece I have is a fender... and it needs a dog leg. No "bumps" along the hood line...

Dash pads are pick up only... I'm not comfortable shipping them.

Motors and heads are considered rebuildable cores. I will not in any way tell anyone that these will run as is. Not happening.

Also I am in need of a few items for an upcoming build so I would consider trades if you are interested.

Grab a Corteco (or is it Cometic?) .028 head gasket set and plane the head .010.. quickest comp boost without tearing the engine down all the way. Will also slightly change your valve lift due to the shorter head height.

Did you get to listing your carbs?
Wondering about a 7040253 Carb Real early Jan 70 or older preferred.

Thanks,

The only part I have for a 67 is a clear back up lens that fits below the tail light and a rough tail light.

John,

Yeah.... this post is kind of old now. I’ve since picked up a 7029253 which may be a decent candidate for a rebuild. The problem is I really want electric choke. I understand that there’s kit for it now. I think you were the one that found it but you hadn’t installed any yet in one of your rebuilds to tell whether the kit worked well or not. My 7042250 is still working fine so I’m hesitant to drop $300-$400 on a new carb rebuild ust for the numbers to be a little closer to correct.

I did find and install an electric choke setup, I used it on a 1973 carb that I modified for a late model Cutlass with a 307, and needed the TV stud. As far as I know it worked because I only installed it and sent it out and he didn't tell me it wasn't working otherwise. if you want, email me eightupman@gmail.com and I may be able to build yours for under $300 OR supply you with a build one and swap that out as a core. Or build your 253.. or trade... i dunno, you can email me to discuss if you like.
