1964 Oldsmobile AM-FM Radio

I have for sale an original unrestored 1964 AM-FM radio. This radio works great. I just tested it and there is no crackling when the volume or fader controls are used. The face and ***** are in nice condition. The AM-FM came on the 98's and Delta's but it is the same dimension as the standard AM radio's. It should fit on the "A" body Cutlass models as well. Hard to find a 1964 radio let alone a AN-FM that works beautifully. Im asking $350. I can send more photo's to whomever's email, if interested. Thanks

It probably won't fit the A-body dash, but it WILL also fit 1963 big cars, just the ***** are different. $350 is not a bad deal on this radio.

Thanks Rocket Raider, I am not familiar with the 1964 model year. The Radio would however fit easily for the 1968-1972 "A" body's.

You can physically install this radio in the dash on a 1965 A body Olds but you will not be able to spin the ash tray to the open from the closed position because the radio components on the driver side of the radio housing block the ash tray rotation.

You're also stuck on 66 and 67. Those require the heatsink in the back of the unit to clear.

Well if you would stop hoarding all the 1970-72 W-30 cars and sell me that 1970 post coupe you could play with the early cars!

Radio

I am not sure if you receive my email but I definitely want to purchase this radio at your asking price. I am rebuilding a 1964 Jetstar I and I am in need of some dash parts and also trunk Oldsmobile letters. Would you have access to these?
Thanks again,
Jim

Hello Jim, it looks like I did not get your email. I sent you a PM. I still have the radio, but unfortunately I do not have the other parts you are in need of.
Thanks.
