Bump. The one long piece for the
door has a screw hole in it.

 

Must have been the same guy who put the trim on my car. Used two sheet rock screws to secure the front fender piece.

I have seen that a lot over the years too.

 

When they were worthless used cars piece of trim gets knocked off people would take the path of least resistance to stick back on.

Side trim on 73 up Chevy/GMC trucks was very prone to falling off due to the glued on plastic clips the held the aluminum side moldings on. Lots of these trucks were punched for sheet metal screws.
