This transmission was build for performance in mind. It was installed in a 1972 Cutlass behind an Oldsmobile 468 Big Block turning about 500HP and 600 ft-tq. The TH400 have about 3000 miles on it. There is nothing wrong with it, I am just putting in an overdrive transmission in my car. This would work excellent for a performance street application to a nice drag application.
