huh. I used to make a batch and sell these for $50 each but those days of essentially free material are gone, as is the workspace.

 

I have three 391279 because I bought a supply about 1973. The shop manual said to discard. I soon learned to reinstall an old one with RTV sealer. I doubt anyone else has any. I also have one NOS late style, short straight with NOS screw on cap. I think they are easier to find. Back in the 70s I tried to buy up all the Tri Carb and W30 parts for '66s that I could anticipate needing and could afford. When the shroud was discontinued 12-72, it clued me that GM was not my friend and would not keep everything at least ten years, as urban legend said.
