67-9 Cutlass/442 auto consoles
67-9 Cutlass/442 auto consoles
Have two consoles for '67-9 Cutlass/442 with auto trans.
They are black, but you could probably paint them to whatever color you needed.
They were from '67 cars, but the only difference between '67 and '68-9 as far as I know is the top applique (which should be available in repop). '67 had silver, '68-9 had wood grain or something. I think you can run out and buy those appliques.
First one appears to be complete except for the shifter and the screws that hold the lid on. Asking $250
Second one appears to be complete except for the shifter and the lid. $95
Might not be a bad idea to grab both of them... these cars stopped turning up in junkyards about 18 years ago...
Add mailing costs from California.
USA mailing destinations only, please... the mailing costs to all other countries would be absolutely ridiculous and just waste everyone's time...
If interested in purchasing, please e-mail me direct at blown394olds@yahoo.com

'67 & '68 had brushed aluminum,
'68 H/O only & '69 all, had woodgrain.
H & H makes perfect reproductions.

Why is the one so much more expensive than the other? It can't be because of the missing lid as the lids are repopped. I'm guessing that pictures might help you with your sales here.

Thanks for the info, perhaps it'll help someone figure out what's best for them.
I may have known that '68 was silver, but it's been years, so things get forgotten.
Also was unaware that lids were available in repop. That wasn't the case several years ago when these were acquired from the junkyards.
So I guess I'm left with the dilemma of either removing the cheaper one from the ads, buying a repop lid for it, then relisting it later for more money...
...or I can just leave the ad like it is and maybe someone else will recognize that perhaps they might be able to do that themselves.
I'm kind of too busy to bother looking up whether or not the repop lids come with the steel plate on the underside or not.
I think I'll leave the ad as-is and just let it go. Hopefully people will just buy the one that suits them best. That makes it easier for me. Been messing with this stuff too long, I suppose...
